Category dialog

Category dialog allows to change name of category and subcategory, assign unique category codes and set budget limits.

Name
Name of the parent category. If you are editing "Food:Groceries", then this field will have "Food" in it.
Subname
Name of the subcategory. When editing "Food:Groceries" it will be "Groceries".
Code
This optional field represents a unique category code which may be defined in your local accounting system. Some countries have accounting laws requiring each category have a unique code. Once this code is entered into this field, AceMoney will display it in all category and subcategory based reports in a special column.
Budget limit
Amount that you are planning to spend or receive on this category. If you are planning to receive this amount, then click on Income, otherwise keep it as Expense.
Budget period
Budget period represents period of time in which you are planning to spend or receive amount of money specified as budget limit.

Optional comment to this category.
