CSV Import
From MechCAD Software Wiki
To import transactions downloaded from your bank into AceMoney you need to download your transactions as .QIF (Quicken) or .OFX (MS Money). If your bank only provides the .CSV format, there is a way to convert it to enable them to import into AceMoney.

XL2QIF (http://xl2qif.chez-alice.fr/xl2qif_en.php) is an add-in to Windows Microsoft Excel the enables you to convert a CSV to QIF from within Excel.
Instructions are on the product website but we have summarized them below as well.
Installation
Once downloaded and extracted from the zip file the contents should include:
By double clicking the install.xls this should open Excel with something like the following page:
If the security warning is showing and the macros are disabled they will need to enabled by clicking the Options button and selecting Enable this content. In earlier versions of Excel this can be done by adjusting the settings in Tools->Macro->Security.
The top left Install button should then be clicked and the prompts followed to install the English version.
Once the install has been completed Excel will close and can then be re-opened.
How to Use
Once reopened a .CSV can be opened in Excel as per below:
Following the install, Office 2007 will show a Add-Ins tab (we believe earlier versions of Excel show a separate tab for XL2QIF) which when clicked will show an XL2QIF menu as per below:
When the dropdown is clicked one of the options is Save to QIF. This will bring up the menu shown on the website and as per below:
QIF Output File: determines the name and location of where the .QIF will be saved. Input Data: select only the contents and not the headers. Auto select may or may not work but any area can be selected using the dropdown.
The "Standard Fields" contain the column titles and need to be selected in the order (left to right) as displayed in the CSV.
Select the fields and click Convert to generate the .QIF.
Once installed the add-in can be used as often as is necessary.
