Account dialog

Account properties dialog allows to change the key attributes of the account.

Name
Account name. This name will appear in Accounts menu and Accounts Page.
Account group
Account group, you can select one type from the combo box.
Name of the bank
Name of the bank, where you keep an account. If your bank is not in the list then just type in it's name, it will be added automatically to the list of the banks. Later you might want to modify this bank information at the Banks Page.
Account number
Number of the account. This parameter is optional, but if you want fill it in for the records.
Starting balance
Initial balance on the account. You might put a number to this field if you have had this account for a while and now decided to track your finances with AceMoney. If it's a brand new account, just leave zero in this field.
Currency
Account's currency. Just choose any currency from the drop-down list. All transactions in the registry of this account will use the specified currency in their amounts.
This account is closed
Select this flag if you've closed the account. By default it will disappear from the list of accounts, however you may set up a flag in Options Dialog to show it again.
Comment
Any comment that you want to add to this account.
